With the development of e-Government some public services should be available everywhere and at any time. The project "Development of e-Government basic services for portal / customer account" allows companies to process high volume business with residence and work permits electronically.

Role nag

Duties related to the support of the project and the departments:

  • Analysis and review of the specifications for the two first project steps
  • Controlling of the project budget and project reporting
  • Extending the use of Confluence
  • Testing
Aim

E-Government gains increasing importance. More and more inhabitants and companies wish a comprehensive offering of online services from the administration. As a progressive canton, Basle-City wants to comply with these wishes by step by step making all important administrative services available through the internet.

Customer

The Central Information Services (ZID) provides all IT Services for the administration of Basle-City. The department E-Government is in charge of the E-Government and is the contact point for companies. This department coordinates the further development and the future design of the access for companies with the concerned administrations and IT services. Thus, the department E-Government simplifies the communication between the economy and the administration.
