Implementation of nag elm (Electronic Payroll Reporting Procedure)

Initial Position

As a part of their digitalization strategy, SWICA Health Insurance decided to implement a B2B solution for the Payroll Reporting of their customers and to use our products nag elm direct and nag elm swissdec. Since the management system of SWICA is administrated by a third-party provider under an outsourcing agreement, the elm solution will also be administrated by this third-party provider.

Role nag

nag informatik was in charge of the delivery and implementation of the elm standard solution. In this project, further activities where necessary:

  • Analysis of specific requirements
  • Implementation of specific features for SWICA (plausibility checks, personalisation)
  • Integration in the management system Syrius
  • Support during the development of the infrastructure and the support organisation
  • Test and quality assurance activities
Aim

The solution nag elm direct and nag elm swissdec offers two ways to receive the SME client's salary data for the branches UVG, UVG supplementary and KTG. After successful plausibility checks, data is transferred to the administration system. The aim of the project was to implement the standard solution and to fulfil the specific requirements of SWICA.

SWICA is one of the leading health and accident insurers in Switzerland, with about 1,3 million policy holders and 27'000 corporate customers.

SWICA offers their customers a long-term financial security and an optimal medical care in case of sickness, accident and pregnancy.
