Zurich Insurance Switzerland has decided to migrate the private life portfolio, which is currently administrated on a system of Zurich Germany, to the life insurance system running in Switzerland.

nag informatik was in charge of the data migration. For this, we have once again successfully used our suite nag migrate. Through the implementation of our tools, a lot of time and effort could be saved and the whole data migration could be completed in time and budget by a small team with a migration expert from nag informatik.

Within 3 years, we had to migrate about 60'000 contracts in four tranches. Additional to the current data, we also had to migrate the historical data. The diversity of the contracts (classical insurances, pension, funds etc.) and the complexity of the migration rules were particularly challenging.
