Partner cleanup and Migration

Initial Position

In this project, a second problem level appeared additionally to the migration and had to be solved: the essential cleansing of duplicates before the migration. Everybody knows them: these partner data which grew over the years, populated through various systems, which end up with a lot of partner information stored in several instances.

Role nag

In this project, we implemented our product data cleaner, which uses highly developed algorithms to show duplicate partner data before the migration. By using this tool, we managed to discover and mark all in all 1,2 million multiple partners, from which 400'000 could be cleaned fully automatically.
